I have already discussed in brief about nadi astrology in my previous article on reincarnation 3 years back. I would like to get back to this topic, since it's the most intriguing subject, which is still creating waves across not only the Indian sub-continent, but also in many parts of the world. Probably, nadi astrology is one branch of astrology which will never yield any scientific proof, but still continue to give characteristic details about a person accurately, which have already been written at least 4000 years before.
These huge volumes of Nadi Granthas (scripts) were first stored in the Saraswati Mahal of Tanjore in Tamil Nadu state of India. These leaves were first discovered in Vaitheeswaran Koil which is about one hour from the great Nataraja temple of Chidambaram, around the 13th century A.D. Some scholars studied these scripts and realized their true value, and started making exact copies and distributing them to other astrologers and slowly, they started making business out of it. And finally, the Valluvar community who mainly live around this temple took over this business and they are the ones making predictions for people these days. But there are a few people from other communities like the Brahmins also doing predictions.
Now, the question is how did these rishis know what's about to come. Do we all believe in the hidden powers and abilities of meditation? Every religious scripture seems to have some revelations like what's going to happen at the end of this earth cycle. Was Noah's arc one such symbolic interpretation? How did Nostradamus know, Hitler was going to come? How did he know about 9/11? And he has still predicted about cataclysmic events which we are yet to experience. Similarly, these great rishis made predictions of those people who are going to be born not just once, but a repeated number of times. If, you believe in reincarnation, you will find the details of where you lived in a past life, if you had one, and also, details of a future birth, if you have one. It will even tell if you don't have a future birth. So, the rishis were very advanced mystics who had transcended time and space, and maybe like the scientists have discovered, they were living in the 11th or a higher dimension which is yet to be discovered by western science. So they could see all the past, present and future. The beauty is, they had travelled far into the future beyond cosmic time. I know this is difficult to believe for many who are going to read this. But, meditation helps us conquer time and space and realize many hidden mysteries of this creation. And I hope, scientists invent a time machine soon and make things believable.
And these were the rishis, who quoted the Vedas. The Vedas are as old as the first humans on earth. They were passed down through different sages and finally, Sage Vyasa the author of the great Indian Epic, Mahabharata, which is also the longest epic in the world, consists of 18,000 volumes..... rearranged the Vedas in four sections based on their field of study. The first section is known as the Rig Veda, which contains sacred Sanskrit Hymns dedicated to the energies of nature, accepting that it is the Supreme which exists in every form of nature as rain, mountains, lakes, trees etc, and we must not destroy them. The next section is known as the Yajur Veda, which contains knowledge of conducting various sacrifices for well-being, peace of mind, fortune and even for Kings and rulers to remain in power for a long time. The third section is the Sama Veda, which contains knowledge of attaining divinity through music, and the fourth section is the Atharvana Veda which is about occult arts and black magic and tantra and ayurveda and also astrology, astronomy and science of weapons and many other things. How shall we answer the questions to how did these rishis discover everything from molecular physics, to chemistry, to atomic theories and also details of the solar system? The vedas also contain the accurate distance between the earth and the sun, which is just the same as what the western scientists discovered milleniums later. There is no trace of laboratories or instruments.
The other questions which arise are, are God and science different from each other? And, is God also a science? What is science? If science and God were different, how come these scriptures of Vedas, and the Upanishads which are older than the Vedas beautifully talk about the cosmos in a scientific way, and finally merge into the beauty of God's creation? Nadi astrology is also a part of that "God" who created this cosmos, which we all are a part of. Stephen Hawking said, "If we discover a complete theory of the universe, then it should in time be understandable in broad principle to everyone and not just to a few scientists. And when that happens, all of us will be able to start discussing why rather than the how. If we find the answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason and then we would know the mind of God". This is exactly what the rishis of ancient India did.
Now, getting back to the Nadi astrology, how did the rishis sort the order of the human beings who were going to incarnate in the future? If they had to know the destiny of all the souls, who are nothing but individual consciousness with respective karmas, it means the rishis had evolved into supreme consciousness which is the creator of individual consciousness. As the Nadis were written, they were categorized under 108 different varieties of thumbprints of men and women. The rishis then predicted where, which village, city, or country they are born and also the details of the family in which the soul has taken birth, along their names and characteristics. Profession of the father, mother and the person who is checking the nadi for himself/herself, and also the name and description of the person who they will marry and also they mention a detailed account of their life from the time of birth up to the present time where they will be reading their nadi scripts. Above all, the rishis have given a detailed account of the planetary positions of the individual at the time of birth, which if you check with a computerized horoscope will be accurate. I checked mine, and I found it to be exactly the same and it took me by surprise.
I will continue more about Nadi astrology in the second edition of my article.

WELL I AM YET TO READ YOUR OTHER 2 ARTICLES ONE THING I HAVE A GREAT DOUBT IN MIND THAT WHEN SOME TIME HAS BEEN TOLD IN THE NADI FOR EXAMPLE I WENT TO SEE THE PATHANJALI NADI HE SAID TO ME THAT I WILL GET A JOB IN 2012 JAN END BUT TILL TODAY I HAVE NT GET ANY THING EVEN THOUGH I DID ALL REMEDIES AS MENTIONED IN THE NADI WHEN I CONTACTED HIM HE SAID HE DOES NT KNOW WHY THIS IS NOT HAPPENED AND HE REFERED THE NADI AGAIN AND TOLD ME THAT CHANCES OF GETTING JOB IN FEB 9 TH 2012 TO 19 FEB 2012 BUT THAT WOULD BE THE TEMOPORARY ONE AND SURE I WILL GET A JOB PERMANANET IN MARCH 1 DT 2012 TO MARCH 23 2012 HE SAID ALL THIS DATED BASED ON THE PLANETARY MOVEMENTS WHICH I AM YET TO SEE THE RESULT BUT MY QUESTION IS WHY DID THE TIME DIFFERED FRM JAN 2012 MY QUESTION IS IS NADI IS TRUE AND IF THE RISHIS WROTE THAT THEN WHY SHOULD IT DIFFER FROM THE PREDICTION MAY YOU PLEASE ANSZER TO MY DOUBTS??The dates and years used in the Nadi astrology are according the ancient Hindu calendar and planetary placements based upon calculations and many other esoteric mystical knowledge which most of it is lost today. Unfortunately, today's astrologers are not very accurate in predicting the future even though they are close enough with providing pointers in areas of our future directions. One major prediction in my life has come true and also another did, but only half. I wish to keep both of these as secrets as they pertain to my own individual growth. But recently another reader of my article visited one astrologer and he got a job around the exact time as he predicted. It is the interpretation that differs and not the prediction of the rishis.
